It’s hard to believe New Year's Eve is almost here! If you’re planning a fabulous soiree to welcome the new year, we’ve got some quick tips to help you easily pull it all together!

No NYE party is complete without a midnight toast, so stock up on champagne flutes for your guests. Plastic is fine, but we prefer glass for such a big occasion. Plus, you can reuse them year after year.

For a festive touch, add some mercury glass votives around your space. We love how the mottled glass looks so chic while adding a warm and elegant touch to tables, trays, and centerpieces. Fill them with classic votive candles for a natural flicker, or opt for LED versions if your location doesn’t allow open flames.

Make your party cleanup easy with sturdy disposable plates. Go plastic—never foam—to keep that classy feel without risking broken plates.

Of course, your New Year’s Eve party also calls for a display commemorating the new year. To keep things easy, our choice is mylar balloons in a metallic gold or silver finish. You can go simple with just “2024” balloons or spell out “Happy New Year” for a grander effect.

Speaking of balloons, a confetti balloon garland can make a fun and eye-catching piece to frame a doorway, food table, or photo wall. It comes together in just minutes, but the end result is fabulous.

However, if you want to elevate your party with a more elegant feel, skip the balloon arch and go for something daring, like a series of gold sequin chandeliers. These work perfectly with high ceilings and add the perfect touch of glam.

Finally, DIY photo booths are all the rage, so don’t forget to put up a classic backdrop for your guests’ photos. For a timeless look, opt for a metallic gold fabric backdrop. But if you want an extra dose of pizzazz, you can’t go wrong with sequin backdrop panels! You can even use these to cover a whole wall in a shimmery statement.

All that’s left is to raise your glass and bring in the new year with a toast!
