With warmer weather and fresh blooms outside, it’s the perfect time to bring some of that springtime feeling indoors! And what better way to do that than with a simple craft?

This DIY succulent terrarium set will be the perfect centerpiece for any mantle or table, brightening up your space (and your mood) with lush foliage. And don’t worry—unlike your garden, this terrarium doesn’t require a green thumb to look fantastic.

It’s the perfect after-work or weekend craft to do alone or even with your kids!

DIY Succulent Terrarium Set

·       Tall Hexagon Terrarium

·       Pyramid Terrarium

·       Rectangular Terrarium

·       12 Faux Succulents

·       Natural Moss

·       Acrylic Rocks

Instructions

1.     Start by filling each terrarium with a layer of acrylic rocks, about 1 to 2 inches deep.

2.     Add a piece of moss to the back third of the tall hexagonal terrarium for dimension before placing three succulents inside. If possible, use succulents of varying heights and balance their spacing to create a visually appealing composition.

3.     Cover the rocks in the pyramid terrarium with moss and arrange three succulents inside, arranging them aesthetically. If possible, choose one succulent with long, draping stems that spill out over the edge.

4.     Place the remaining 6 succulents in the rectangular terrarium, varying the heights (and colors, if applicable) for a balanced and multi-dimensional look. Add bits of moss throughout the terrarium as desired for more texture and greenery.

5.     If desired, decorate your terrarium further with small figurines, decorative stones, or other small accents.

6.     Arrange your terrarium set in a cluster on a table or mantle, or display them individually throughout your home! Note: If you are displaying your terrarium set on a table, consider placing the terrariums on a tray to keep them clustered and make them easier to transport when it’s time to eat. You can always add a touch of greenery to the tray using any leftover moss as well!

Thanks to the faux plants, this gorgeous terrarium set will be in bloom all year round, effortlessly bringing a touch of spring feeling to your home. What a perfect way to brighten up your space!
