Valentine’s Confetti Ornaments
· Plastic Fillable Heart Ornaments
· Tissue and Foil Confetti Mix
· Pink or Red Ribbon
· Glitter Pens (optional)
Instructions
1. Open your heart ornaments and lay each side flat on a table.
2. Fill each half of the ornament approximately ¾ of the way full with the confetti mix, then carefully join the halves and press together tightly to close.
3. For each ornament, cut approximately 8” of ribbon. Thread the ribbon through the ornament loop and tie it into a bow.
4. Optional: Using the glitter pen, decorate the front of each ornament with a classic candy heart’s phrase, such as “Be Mine,” “Me + You,” or “UR Cute.” Allow to dry completely before moving.
Our next craft looks so refined no one will guess it came together so quickly! These floral heart crafts are perfect for putting on display, and the combo of hearts and roses hits perfectly for Valentine’s Day.
Floral Hearts
· Heart-Shaped Floral Foam Base
Instructions
1. Place your foam heart on a flat surface and measure its thickness.
2. Trim your faux rose bud stems based on the thickness of your foam base, cutting them ¼ inch shorter than the base. For example, if your base is 1.75 inches thick, cut your rose stems 1.5 inches long.
3. Insert each stem into a square on the foam base grid. If your flowers are large, leave one square between each stem, inserting them in a consistent pattern until you’ve completely covered the surface of the grid with roses.
These quick crafts are perfect for anyone who may not be confident in their DIY abilities but wants to create something from the heart. And with such cute and classy results, they’re sure to melt the heart of anyone on your Valentine’s Day list!
