Something about fall makes us want to bring those gorgeous colors into every nook and cranny of our homes. And what better way to fill autumn’s lengthening evenings or a cozy weekend than by creating your own fall decoration?
We’ve put together the perfect fall floral arrangement featuring all the gorgeous colors of the season, classic flowers, and rustic vibes. You’ll love to place it on your front porch, living room, or wherever you need a pop of seasonal color.
All you need to do is gather your supplies, follow the instructions, and enjoy! For twice the fun, create two matching arrangements to frame your doorway, couch, fireplace, and more!
DIY Fall Floral Arrangement
- Galvanized Beverage Bucket
- Artificial Burgundy Daisy Spray
- Natural Dried Pampas Grass
- Dried Palm Leaf
- Artificial Sunflower Bouquet
- Burlap Ribbon
Instructions
- Trim your pampas grass stems to be approximately 14” long (from the stem’s end to the bottom of the tuft). Place them in your vase, with five around the outside and five closer to the middle. Don’t worry if they don’t stay in place at first.
- Cut the daisy stems from the spray, keeping them as long as possible. Place them as evenly as possible between the pampas grass stems in both layers to maintain symmetry in your arrangement.
- Untie the sunflower bouquet and add them to the bouquet, placing them in a uniform pattern around the arrangement.
- Place your dried palm leaf in the center of your arrangement, allowing the fan to peak out above the daisies and sunflowers.
- To finish off the arrangement, tie a bow of burlap ribbon around the bucket's rim for a rustic-chic touch.
Tip: If you want your arrangement to be taller, add a foam floral block to the bottom to raise the stems a couple of inches.
We love this particular arrangement because it goes with pretty much any autumn scene. Of course, you can mix and match your favorite fall flowers to create an arrangement that fits your home and personality, too! Happy crafting!
