Spring is the perfect time to give your home a fresh start. A good cleaning is never a bad idea. But why not use the new season to give your décor a spring refresh, too? With just a few thoughtful touches here and there, you can add new life to your home without breaking the bank!

If you don’t know where to start, here are a few quick ideas to spruce up your décor for warm-weather living.

White Wooden Frames

  1. Switch up your artwork and wall décor! If you’ve had the same photos in frames for years, now’s the time to print off some fresh shots and switch them out. You can also invest in a new collage frame for a fun display. Need a break from that painting or sculpture on the wall? Opt for a breezy macrame wall hanging instead! It only takes a few minutes (and maybe a few nails) to update your walls with a new look.
  2. Bring in some greenery. Did you know that plants can reduce stress and boost productivity? We all need more of that in our lives! So, if you have a green thumb, why not bring that indoors with some houseplants? Find some sunny spots and cute pots, and use your new plant friends as décor. If you tend to kill all your greenery, no worries. Even fake plants have mood benefits! Grab a few artificial succulents or cacti to place around your home, and bring in those green hues.
  3. Update your floral centerpieces. Real flowers are always a treat, but a faux floral arrangement is something you can use year after year for a nice spring refresh. You can buy a pre-made arrangement or create a custom one with all your favorite colors and flowers to bring some springtime indoors!
  4. Switch out your pillow covers. There’s no need to buy a whole new pillow set (unless you really want to). Grab some covers to slip over your existing pillows and give them a brand-new look in seconds! We’re particularly partial to pastels this time of year, but choose whatever color fits your existing décor and puts a little extra spring in your step.
  5. Round up the clutter. If your home accumulated too much clutter over the winter, getting that cleaned up can make a massive difference to your mental state! Baskets are an easy way to gather those loose items into designated locations and get them off your floor, couches, and chairs. We love large rattan baskets for toys, blankets, towels, and clothes, while small wicker baskets are perfect for trinkets, mail, jewelry, art supplies, and more!

It doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive to give your home a spring refresh. Try these simple tricks yourself, and get ready to enjoy that “new home” feel!
