Planning a bridal shower is a big honor, but we all know a lot of pressure is involved, too. After all, you want the bride-to-be to feel special. So, how do you pull it off? Just follow our quick guide to a beautiful bridal shower!

One of the easiest ways to set the tone for your shower is with the invitations. Choose something timeless and elegant, like ivory laser-cut cards. If you have it in your budget, hire a calligrapher to write the invitation details onto the cards in a scrolling script.

If not, here’s a quick hack: use your computer to type out the party details in a fancy font and print the details onto thin paper. Cut them to be slightly smaller than the unfolded card. Use double-sided adhesive to attach the printouts to the cards’ interiors and make them look professionally done!

Next, create a stunning backdrop. The easiest way to do that is with faux floral mats! We prefer white hydrangeas for a classic look, but you can also lean into the wedding colors. To create a backdrop, just snap the mats together, then hang them with small nails or zip ties! Use your gorgeous backdrop to accent the bride’s chair, set the scene for a photo booth, or add some pizzazz to an empty space. This is also a great spot to add a pop of color with a bright bride-to-be sign nestled into the flowers.

And since the theme of this day is love, you can’t go wrong with some marquee letters. In this case, the larger the letters, the better, so you can use them as a centerpiece or accent piece wherever you like!

The last order of business is the flowers. A day like this calls for plenty of floral arrangements to accent tables, mantels, and other empty spaces. Pre-made, artificial bouquets make your life easy because you can pop them into a vase and call it a day. But consider adding some extra floral touches here and there, like garlands over the doorway or woven between plates on the food table. If you want to add a wow factor, grab a couple of artificial cherry trees to frame an important area. The possibilities are endless.

And there you have it! With these simple decorations, you can transform any space into a beautiful bridal shower she’s bound to love!
